Staying at this unique thatched retreat near Salcombe and beaches was an absolute delight. The hosts, Helen and Shane, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The cottage itself was adorable, with thoughtful touches and a cozy atmosphere. Despite the snow on the ground, the cottage remained warm and inviting. The location was ideal for our plans in Devon, and Shane's valuable recommendations made our stay even better. The surrounding gardens provided a lovely outdoor space to relax in. Although the narrow country lanes were a bit challenging to navigate, the journey was well worth it for the beauty and charm of the retreat. The only small suggestion I have is to have a shower head with adjustable settings to accommodate different water pressures. But with that being said, this place exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this unique thatched retreat near Salcombe and beaches for a memorable and enjoyable stay in South Milton.

Great location near beautiful beaches and coastline. Comfy king-size bed for a good night's sleep. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, providing valuable information about the area.
The lack of wardrobe space was inconvenient, especially for a longer stay with various weather conditions. the absence of a village shop or local pub in the area limited convenience and dining options.

The location was fantastic, with plenty of places to explore in the surrounding area. The hosts were friendly and provided us with lots of great recommendations. The cottage itself was small but had all the essentials we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the quirky and stylish design of the property. The outside garden area was also lovely, perfect for relaxing in. Plus, the fresh milk provided was a nice touch.
That it was essential to have a car to get around, as the area had narrow lanes without sidewalks. Walking in the dark was quite risky, especially without any nearby pubs to visit.

To get to the property, you have to travel down very narrow lanes which may be challenging for nervous drivers. It's also essential to have a car here as the area has narrow lanes without pavements, making it difficult to walk around.
